About Susan Slater
Susan is the author of six mysteries—The Pumpkin Seed Massacre, Yellow Lies, Thunderbird, and the novella, A Way to the Manger—in the highly acclaimed Ben Pecos series, plus two stand-alones, Flash Flood and Five O’clock Shadow. Susan’s first novel, The Pumpkin Seed Massacre,was published internationally rising to best seller status in Germany, 2001. In addition to working for the government, she taught writing at the college level for over twenty-five years. Currently Susan lives thirty miles west of Taos, New Mexico and writes fulltime.
